We think you over roasted it
December 24, 2014
We've had Gayo before, and it was roasted somewhat lighter than this, which appears as you described, but we were hoping for something without sweating and not quite so dark . . the flavor has lost most of the caramel/chocolaty flavors, and some of the "grainy" taste, which we're pretty sure is a result of over cooking those beans . . we'd give a nickel if you would consider dialing back that roast a bit.
Pros
  • Your service is quick and reliable, your folks were helpful during chat/phone contact, and your product description seemed accurate to us.
Cons
  • Both bags did NOT come vacuum packed, and we checked the bags to see if we could draw down the air in there, which we were able to do, why didn't you??
