Kona Estate Coffee

Hawaiian Kona Estate Coffee (1lb Bag)
1 lbGrind Qty: $60.00
Looking for something homegrown? Hawaiian coffees are the only coffees produced in the United States, and the enriched soil and ideal weather of Hawaii makes these Hawaii Kona coffee beans one of most distinguished coffees in the world. With a buttery body and a smooth, well balanced roast that has a silky milk chocolate flavor and hints of fruit, these Hawaii Kona beans are the utmost representation of high quality coffee.

These Hawaii Kona beans were originally brought to Hawaii from Brazil, and since then, the success of these beans has known no bounds. Located on the slopes of a volcano in Mauna Loa, Hawaii Kona 'Volcanic Estate' is grown on limited yet coveted space. Due to the small confinements of space for these special beans, Hawaii Kona has the highest yield of Arabica in the world. In order to optimize production, over 600 farmers handpick and tend to the wet-processed Hawaii Kona beans under the tightest regulations and the highest labor costs in the world.

Kona coffee beans are sun-dried for the ultimate enhancement of flavor, but its popularity and success is due to Hawaii's incredible weather – the coffee trees of Hawaii excel here, creating one-of-a-kind coffee beans. If you are looking for an excellent coffee, say 'Aloha' to Hawaii Kona's 'Volcanic Estate'!

Love this coffee

The coffee is fresh, arrived promptly and I'll buy more. Prices are not out of line (although they have gone up since I bought last month) and since this is our "splurge" item, we expect it to cost more than a can from the grocery store.
Pros
  • Fresh, excellent coffee
Cons
  • cost
  • no tracking availability for PO Box deliveries

The coffee lives up to the stories. A very smooth, mild coffee, with no acidic after taste like some coffees. It was worth the wait and price. Buy some !

This is a great show off coffee for friends and family. The roast is full of flavor and a bit earthy. You will enjoy this coffee anytime but you need the time to enjoy this brew. Brew up and pot take your time and enjoy.

My first and last purchase from this company
November 25, 2014
This was my first purchase of 100% Kona Coffee and I will never purchase from this company again due to their way over top prices. When I investigated pricing on 100% Kona Coffee I found how grossly over priced their coffee is. I discovered coffee from $16 - $29 a lb for the same quality and taste of 100% Kona Coffee.
Pros
  • My wife and I love Kona Coffee…………………..Someone please explain to me why I should pay $59 a lb when I can purchase the exact taste, aroma and satisfaction for $16 - $29 per lb??????
Cons
  • I was a chump to pay $59 for a lb of Kona Coffee…………..
