Costa Rica is known for its diverse weather and exciting coffee, and Costa Rica Reserve is a seamless compilation of diversity and fun! Brilliant in flavor, thanks to its mouthwatering tang, these Costa Rican coffee beans offer a tantalizing aroma and a light-medium body that will provide a classic cup of coffee.

These strictly hard beans (also known as SHB) are grown in high altitudes reaching around 3, 900 feet. Costa Rica Reserve benefits from the high altitude which creates a slow roasting bean, full of density and rich flavors. Since Costa Rica offers the perfect altitude for growing these flavorful beans, Costa Rican Reserve captures the best of the slow roasting process.

Currently, Costa Rican coffee is undergoing a change from large plantation work to smaller coffee mills. This transition is providing the people of Costa Rica with an ability to handle all the coffee beans themselves, which in return produces coffee that is often considered to be exceptionally balanced and clean-tasting.

If you are a coffee connoisseur, this brightly flavored Costa Rican Reserve will inspire you to soar through the canopies of Costa Rica, or at least dream about it, while indulging in a strong finish with each cup.

the coffee is really good. not too strong
ConsI purchased a half pound of beans to try the first time. $7,95. when I got to check out it cost another $15,oo plus to ship. rip-off. Had I purchased a 5lb. bag it only cost $5.00 to ship. Pretty sleazy way to do business.

I'm in love with this coffee. Rich, smooth and leaves you feeling so good after an enjoyable cup of coffee. I love coffee, in fact it's my favorite drink and I could be a coffee taster, if there was such a person. I buy all my coffees from Gourmet Coffee and Ive never been disappointed.

The least bitter flavor
December 4, 2016
I've been a coffee lover for over 50 years. Trying new flavors is always fun. I have found over the years that Costa Rican coffee is the least bitter aftertaste of any coffees I have tried.
