Baklava is one of the most beloved Middle Eastern desserts. Made with a filo dough pastry shell, chopped nuts, sweetened syrup or honey, and spices such as sugar and nutmeg, this dessert comes from the days of the Ottoman Empire. Our Decaf Baklava flavored coffee is a sweetly luxurious warm beverage that will go perfectly as an after-dinner dessert coffee or as a Baklava substitute. This decaf coffee retains the same delicious flavors and aroma as our regular coffee, except it is decaffeinated and lacks effects of caffeine. If you like your coffee to have a full-body of flavor and nutty undertones, this Baklava flavored coffee is a treat.

This dessert, which calls Turkey home, is best made with maple walnuts and pistachios. Mixed with sugar, honey, and syrups, the sticky sweetness of this dessert makes it the perfect after-dinner delight. Just like the dessert itself, this Baklava flavored coffee has strong flavors that highlight the nutty characteristics. Originally adored for its nutty finish, this dessert based flavored coffee tastes just like it should.

For the freshest coffee, GourmetCoffee.net will roast this Baklava flavored coffee the same day and ship it to you to experience in all of its delicious flavor. Made with 100% Arabica beans, which have similar origins to this dessert, you know you will get the utmost of flavor and quality!

Light and sweet but doesn't quite taste like baklava
October 4, 2014
First of all, love this site. I especially love that you can order 1/2 bags which is perfect for someone like me who wants to try ALL the flavors!!! i've been wanting to get this baklava flavor for a while now. The thought of it is so delicious. When I got it (along with the toffee almond crunch) the first thing i did was smell the coffee through the bag. the baklava really didn't give me anything but the toffee almond crunch omg it smelled like amaretto! yum!! but i still wanted to try the baklava. i opened the bag and got more of an aroma, still subtle, but it was almost chocolately. now i'm hear drinking a cup and here's what i think. its a light brew. adding cream really brings out the flavor. i don't taste baklava. i don't taste nuts. but i do taste a nice sweet after dinner coffee. i would say honey is the flavor i'm tasting. its definitely nice. like drinking dessert. warm and inviting. nice to serve to guests for sure. but i don't see myself running to drink another cup every day. there are too many flavors to try! excited about the toffee almond crunch though.

*update* as i got down to the last 3rd of my cup of coffee i did taste the nuts! subtle. not a strong flavor. but its there somewhere!
Pros
  • yummy dessert in a cup
Cons
  • wish the nutty flavor was stronger and that the coffee was darker
