If you go gaga for great espresso, GourmetCoffee.net's Espresso Gold is the ultimate espresso blend for coffee lovers that desire a frothy cappuccino or a flavor-lingering latte! This Espresso Gold blend comes from Indian coffees and roasted by the Italian roasting method – a technique that truly provides exceptional espresso results! With a sweetly mellow smattering and a full body, this espresso is outstanding.

The Italian roasting provides this Espresso Gold with a velveteen and enduring crema. The crema of any espresso drink is important to its overall taste – it creates the top layer that caps the beverage with its mouth-watering flavor and decadent espresso-esque flavor. The Espresso Gold blend has a golden red cream that continues to win over new customers with its familiar and delicious taste!

While we will be happy to grind these beans for you, we highly recommend ordering your Espresso Gold blend whole bean. Beans should be ground immediately prior to use, for a traditionally scrumptious espresso experience. If you love warm coated espresso flavors and a lingering yet mild acidity, the high-quality Espresso Gold is the golden espresso selection!

Espresso Gold Coffee
July 26, 2021
It took a bit to get a nice shot, I adjusted the brew temp to 205 degrees and adjusted grinder fineness to extreme fineness. I have a Profitec pro 700 espresso machine and a Eureka specialty 65 grinder. I found that a straight espresso is very bitter and is more bright than bold, Im guessing due to the medium roast so I am using it for Americanos. In the Americano it is still bitter but much more tolerable with a low boldness. Please know it is good just not great. I have also prepared this coffee in a Aeropress with much similar results bitter and light. I would not deter someone for trying this coffee because a lot of people would prefer this coffee over a heavier coffee just not me. I enjoy tasting a coffee and wanting to just chug it, unfortunately this is a sipper and not a chugger!
Pros
  • Pulls very nice shots, lots of creama
Cons
  • Bitter
  • Bright
  • Not as bold as I would prefer

Reminds me of Italy

This coffee reminds me of the cappuccinos that I use to get in Italy. A nice bold taste, without being bitter.
